Interpret as you will. Perhaps Dylan’s data was old.

From this point, I assume Nvidia will grow 30/40% Y/Y. Everyone who thinks revenue will crash -50% truly underestimates the potential of AI. Couples of points to watch closely: Infiniband not being the 1st choice for peak power/$ opens a whole new set of competition on the Ethernet side. I get it that Nvidia will probably offer next-day shipping with the order of Spectrum-X, but when you wait for 100,000 GPUs, it’s already baked in that the waiting time will be extensive. So margin may compress a little bit here.
And AMD unveiled also today that their MI300X equipped with the new EPYC CPU is on par with a H100 on the LLaMa 2 70B benchmark.
So I don’t think that NVIDIA will be able to price Blackwell well above $50,000, at least not for a long time. So margin(who are already in extravagenza territory at 50+%) will compress here too… But volume will go way up, and maybe in a few years, a subscription will be added for software maintenance/update.
Last point, I think Apple will miss the mark totally on the A.I side and will have no choice but to invest heavily to catch up, so a lot of revenue may be coming in a few months/year.
By the way, great article and interview.
